We will provide valuable information on how Simply Be Found can help you enhance your online presence, drive more web traffic, and ultimately grow your business.

Overcoming Web Traffic Challenges for Small Businesses

Online visibility can be challenging for small businesses. You might face issues such as:

  • Low ranking in search results
  • Incorrect or outdated business information
  • Lack of customer reviews

Simply Be Found can help you address these challenges and grow your business through the following:

  • Local SEO score: The platform provides a local SEO score to help you understand your current online performance. By focusing on areas that need improvement, you can boost your search ranking and attract more web traffic despite the competition.
  • Integration with key platforms: integrates with major websites like Google My Business, Bing Places, and social media. This ensures that your business information is accurate and updated across all channels, making it simple for customers to find and trust your services.

What is local SEO and why does it matter for Small Business Owners?

Local SEO is all about optimizing your online presence to help your business show up in local search results when people search for products or services in their area. For example, if someone types in “pizza near me” or “plumber in [city name]”, local SEO helps make sure that your business is one of the first results that pop up.

3 Key Reasons Why Local SEO Matters for Small Business Owners

  • It helps you attract local customers: By showing up in local search results, you can attract more customers who are searching for products or services in your area. This can help increase foot traffic to your physical location or online orders.
  • It’s more cost-effective than other types of advertising: Compared to traditional advertising like TV or radio ads, local SEO is a more cost-effective way to reach potential customers in your area. You can optimize your website and online presence without spending a lot of money on ads.
  • It helps you compete with bigger businesses: Even if you can’t compete with big chain stores on a national or global scale, you can still compete with them in your local market. By focusing on local SEO, you can make sure that your business shows up when people search for products or services in your area.

Tips on Improving Your Local SEO

  • Claim and optimize your Google My Business listing: Google My Business is a free tool that allows you to manage how your business appears on Google Maps and search results. Make sure you claim your listing and optimize it with accurate and consistent information.
  • Get listed in online directories and review sites: Make sure your business is listed in popular online directories like Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Yellow Pages. Keep your information updated and respond to reviews.
  • Use local keywords on your website: Use keywords on your website that relate to your local area, like the name of your city or neighborhood. This can help improve your visibility in local search results.

All right, so this question comes up all the time.

I have a website but I’m not getting the traffic I want for the website.

I’m not seeing the results I’m looking for on my website.

Now first off, Simply Be Found doesn’t do anything with websites. We have widgets that can go out to websites, but we don’t build websites, we’re not website designers. I have another company that does it. If you want to know the name of that company, let me know. But it’s one of those things where we don’t do anything with websites. We drive traffic to websites but our system will work with any website, our system will work with any website you have or no website at all. So, one of the big complaints is:

my website is not getting enough traffic,

my website is not getting the results I’m looking for,

my website is not producing what I did.

I paid all this money into my website and it’s not doing what’s supposed to.

Well, I call this the “Field of Dreams Effect.” The Field of Dreams effect is when you build something, and you hope everybody’s going to come. And there’s a few different aspects that have to happen. You have to way of the traditional SEO route which marketers would call on-page/off-page SEO. So this is where you build your back leaks, you do all this complicated stuff, you have to produce all this content, you got to write blogs everywhere between 1000 – 2500 words, you have to do all this stuff from one place.

So most small business owners and most businesses, in general, don’t have time to do this, unless they have a whole marketing team or they’ve learned how to use you know one of the AI writing tools so that they have time to edit and do all that stuff.

Local SEO is what Simply Be Found focuses on. Local SEO gets you found everywhere where customers are searching for you right now. I like to refer to local SEO as injecting content. So, what we could do is we can take all the content that you have. We could take everything that you have inside your system, so your business hours, your business name, your phone number, all the details about your business, and we can put it into a file. We then take if you’ve done any posts with us: it could be on Facebook, it could be a Twitter, it could be a Google My Business profile.

We take all that information: we take all the photos that you’ve entered into the system, we take all the reviews that you have inside the system, we have all of the questions and answers you have. You start building up everything that we collect inside of our system, we put that into a data set. I call this “marketing with your business data.”

So now you’re going to take all that data and you’re going to inject it. You’re not going to wait and hope that they’re going to crawl and come to your website and visit. And scrape all that data to get you to break on social media. We’re going to take that information on search engines. We’re going to take all that information to inject it directly into that website or into that search engine.

We’re also going to take that information and we send as much as we can that’ll be accepted by all the different networks we go to. So this might be Bing places, it might be Bing searched, it might be Bing Maps, it could be Alexa, Siri, Cortana, it could be Facebook, it could be Twitter, it could be Google My Business, it could be Google Maps, Google all the places that people are currently searching for your business.

What happens like a good example is a menu, we have a menu for a restaurant, we have a menu for service, a menu that can work with any kind of business. If you take that information what happens— what I see a lot is I see people go in they take a picture of their menu and they put it into their profile, and this has zero SEO value. Well, I guess I shouldn’t say zero, it has sub because you put a picture up. No, never go take a picture outside of your building and saying, “Hey look! There’s a picture.”

If you take all of your menu for that restaurant or your products and services and you put it down detail that this is the product name, this is a product description, this is what I offer… Now our system will eject that directly right into those profiles, so now when it comes it goes— okay this person is searching for roofing in Greeley Colorado.

It’ll go “Oh look! This company right here does roofing. Oh great! look they’re located in Greeley Colorado. Perfect!” So that’s where service area gets tied into this whole piece to where it now knows “Oh this is where they are” or “Oh hey! they service this area.” Now you are getting that person who is searching for what you have right now on some kind of device. No matter if it’s a voice search, an internet search, or however they’re looking for you. You’re gonna pop up.

This is like somebody going to the phone book back in the day looking at it up and saying “Oh! here’s roofers all across here. I’ll call this one because it’s number one.”

That’s why we used to do the AAA and all this fun stuff that we used to do. Local SEO will help your business get found by more local customers without all the hassle in very few minutes per day. Just have to log in, and build up your scores, we help you every step of the way, and we give you a complete to-do list that any business owner, not tech savvy all the way up to the tech-savvy can take care of it.
